You've made it passed all the pharmaceutical/medical websites that will ultimately lead your health and your understanding of optimal nutrition in the wrong direction. You've made it to one of the few websites dedicated to the truth about the body, the truth about food and how the two can co-exist in perfect harmony.
Welcome to your health.
Your body is rapidly creating new cells all the time. The quality of food determines weather you are creating healthy nutrient rich cells or poor malnourished cells/tissue. Regeneration can occur if given the proper nutrients from the best sources. Only then will your body have the ability to heal on the inside just like on the outside. One extremely important tool your body needs to regenerate is live enzymes. Enzymes=Energy. Any and all raw plants have live enzymes. Enzymes catalyze or aid in biochemical reactions. This does not mean that you have to be a raw vegetarian in order to side step disease or have excellent health, but it's the optimal way to regain it and maintain it.
Degeneration is the birth of new cells that are already in a malnourished state which inhibits the cell to carry out its specific functions thusly resulting the storage of toxins, fats, and indigestible proteins in your tissues. By consistently supplying your body with low quality food, cells don't get the nutrients they need to do the job and ultimately, you rob your body of its natural ability to cleanse toxins and heal internally.
Any ailment you have is a direct result of malnutrition. When your body is not functioning properly in some way, it tells you in the form of an ailment. When your cells don't function properly, your body does not function properly. So, whats wrong with our cells? They don't have personalities, they don't have attitudes, they don't get lazy and they don't go on vacation. They just don't have nutrients.
Our Ailments are indications that our body cannot clean itself, or heal internally. Pretty scary, and here's why. If you cut your hand and your doctor told you it would bleed forever, never heal and gave you a prescription to thicken your blood so it wouldn't bleed as much, how would you feel about that? I'm guessing you would know there is something wrong with that answer and demand to know why. The funny thing is, that when it happens on the inside, we accept that answer.
The need for the Medical Industry is without a doubt, very important. Immediate pharmaceutical and medical intervention is necessary for accidents and emergencies. However, our incredible dependence on medicine is where our education is extremely misguided. Our medications are merely a means to sustain our current diet. For example, eat tacos -> acid reflux -> take heartburn medication -> eat more tacos. Don't ignore your body. If your body says "I don't like tacos" then don't eat tacos. Duh.
Common sense should make you ask yourself..."Why does my medication give me headaches, make me tired, and give me nausea"? "Why should I have four problems to try and cope with one"? But in most cases, it does not. We just accept it as normal, because unfortunately, in our society...it is normal.
Vitamins and mineral supplements are isolated from there original environment then synthetically made in a lab. In Dr. Jane Hendricks book "Feed Your Body, Energize Your Life", she states "In medical school, we memorized the toxicity levels of isolate vitamins and minerals just as we memorized the toxicity levels of pharmaceutical drugs and medicinal herbs".
Since there are toxic levels then you can overdose. I've never heard of someone becoming toxic or even die because they overdosed on carrots.
She later explains that the supplements claiming to be an "all natural" derivative from food undergoes "heat, distillation, solvents and chemical treatment"... "separating the vitamin from its family of trace minerals and enzymes" which aid in assimilation ultimately destroying its benefit.
As for prescriptions, once your on a prescription, your dosage will keep increasing. Constantly masking the cause by suppressing the symptom. You will never get off them unless, of course, you learn what makes you "tick"and what makes you sick. Otherwise, you're on 2 prescriptions then 3 then 4 then more, then stop living. Thats no way to live...or die.
You can only absorb about 10% of synthetic pills. The other 90% is sent off to storage. Not used, but not eliminated. N.G. (which stands for Not Good).
Sure, Labels are important, but only for quantity’s sake. "I can only have this much of that or that much of this” doesn't make too much sense when considering if it doesn't have a label…you can have as much as you want AND get everything you need (i.e. veggies and fruits-no label). My philosophy is "If it has a label you probably shouldn't eat it". Of course there are exceptions. If you are a label reader you should be more savvy of the ingredients.
MSG (mono sodium glutamate) is in almost everything we eat, and has many code names. A few include: “Spices”, “Flavoring”, and even “Plant Protein Extract”. So lets say you’re reading a label, and it complies with the “quantities” allotted in your diet, i.e. carbohydrates=15g, protein=4g, and Fat=3g, calories=26, etc... However, the ingredients show “Plant Protein Extract”. Even though it has all the right numbers, it still has MSG and it will do more harm to your body than good. MSG is linked to learning disabilities and was proved to be powerful brain toxin.
